Windows is preventing access via alias per default. To overcome this you have to configure Windows accordingly.

Follow these steps:

  1. On the server where Spider LCM Application is installed, open regedit
  2. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\MSV1_0
  3. Create a multi string entry named BackConnectionHostNames
  4. Enter the alias name(s) you want to access the system
    BackConnectionHostNames in regedit
  5. restart IIS (IISRESET)
